Hi everyone, I have to apologise first off because I've only just managed to get on the list..something to do with working for the City Council, they like to be subjective with what email lists I am allowed to join. everyone knows christchurch is the real adelaide - vineyards, anglophilia, culture with a capital c and white supremacy :7. indeed. they?re sister cities in more ways than one. the eerie towen planning echos (that grid system, the centrality of the rivers - torrens and avon, the edward gibbon wakefield connection ) perplexingly, both proudly proclaim their status as ?the garden city? and ?the cathedral city?. & note the curiously high incidences of bizarre violent crime in both places . all christchurch needs now is a pioneering cyberfeminist movement ... |
